Two things - dow2 and I need money

Been playing Dawn of War 2 far too much lately, it's just such a suberb rts. Anyway, my fave race from the offerings is Eldar, and now I badly want an Eldar army. With white armour and pink hats!!

Wraithlord with bright lance and wraithsword, Falcon w/scatter lasser
Guardians with shuriken cannon and Warlock, Howling Banshees w/exarch
Farseer with council, Rangers

Ofc this list has glaring problems, lack of av is one. Comes to around 1000pts I think after buying powers and stuff. But Eldar with pink hats!! MUST HAVE!

Pre Heresy Marines

Forgeworld have put up a selection of the old power armor variants. Have to say a pre heresy colour scheme World Eaters army is looking mighty tempting. That clean white and blue look is funky.

First time it's made me feel sick

I don't think it's any secret that Citadels Foundation paint smells a but funky. I always thought Mechrite Red was potent, but just cracked open gretchin green, and now I feel physcially sick.
The stuff is god awful.

It does seem to be a good base for the pale green robes I want my Clan Moulder skaven to have though, thankfully packmasters are few and far between so exposure to this smell will be minimum.

New Fantasy starter box set

So having seen the pics floating about on forums everywhere, desperatly need this box. And then ebay for one or two duplicates, maybe weapon teams and the chieftan.

Chieftan looks great, though banner pole looks a tad too big. Rat Ogres are amazing. Nice to see a mortar model. The WFT looks really small to me. Engineer is a little meh. Clanrats look exactly the same as current ones, but with shields as part of the body so prob a little loss of detail there.

Elves look damn good. Still want an HE or DE army, but for some reason all the current GW elf models do nothing for me style wise.

As an aside gw have updated all the FAQ's, and the line saying how Strength in Numbers is used with Steadfast has been deleted. Their are arguments all over the place for and against it now, and I'm so not eager to play an army when a major part of that army has a huge question mark over it. If they felt it was too powerful, they should of just changed it to a flat no, rather than deleting it altogether. Gw really are idiots.

screw this weather

Can't do any painting. Can water down paint until it's almost water, and it still dries before the brush gets to the model even. Tried to some ink washing, and the ink wouldn't spread. Somewhat need to some drastic fixing on my psyker squad. The whole "wash with brown on their robes thing" has gone drastically wrong.

Bring back the snow!!

He is in desperate need of varnish. I wash all my metal/resin minis to help the undercoat stay on, but it's made no difference to this one. Just flakes off whenever it's touched.
