Purity seal is utter crap, had to repaint a thousand son squad a few months ago because of it. Get Vallejo matt or gloss varnish (depending on the result you want). It's a paint-on varnish, but fantastic stuff!
I think it depends on the humidity and temperature. I hit my ratlings with it 2 month or so ago, and they are fine. Look great in fact. From the same can. Fun fact. Sprayed some sprue and thats fine as well. Just wanted to screw up models I care I about I guess.
I gave up on it, it messes up more than it works. I stick to Vallejo these days, as I've never had a problem in two years of using it on dozens of models

ReplyDeleteIt's odd because I've bought some which went frosty and others were fine. Maybe it depends on the batch?
