My army has a lot of guns. People seem terrified of this. And they cry out for more cover on the table.
Fun fact I have hardly killed anything with my tanks. Only games which I did any damge were v Dan (Who sat in the open) and Aven (who I mostly killed with plasma guns from the standard guys)
Unfortuantly this fear of guns is working totally against me.

You watch the Miniwargaiming battle reports don't you? They don't have anywhere near the amount of terrain that we tend to have. If I copied their way of doing it I would get grief even more than I already do, despite them being pretty much right. Makes me laugh some times.
ReplyDeleteDifference is they use less, but it's tends to be larger LoS blocking pieces, same with BoL's. If you look at the 40k rulebook examples it mostly less as well.
ReplyDeleteAnyway not bitching, just amusing that the fear people have just doesn't play out in the real world.
It never does, unless I'm playing against CSM. Then I get scared.
