So todays day of gaming.
We played Lat Night on Earth. I like LNOE. The base game + Growing Hunger was pretty perfect. Then they just seem to keep adding expansions that do nothing much. This latest one has woods. Which seem to add nothing beyond making the map bigger and inconveniencing the heroes. And making some Zombie cards so bad, it's just silly.
Anyway Zombies won both games. Lost interest in it with expansion material.
Then we played Star Wars the card game. Sadly there was three of us, so it meant the challenge deck. Which are totally unfun unless you have a solid strategy and decks to beat it.
Then played a normal game, but was mostly meh'd out by the challenge game
Then the day devolved into Magic (yawn)
So yeah crappy day all told.

I quite enjoyed last day on earth, but yes the outside forest bit wasn't helpful at all, also we need a 4th star wars player lol
ReplyDeleteYou don't have to use the woods tiles but it gives you the option of adding them to a regular game. Perhaps in future survivours should just start in town but other effects can happen in either ring.
ReplyDeleteI lost interest in the SW game ages ago. It's too awkward and I don't like the deckbuilding or the game play. At least there is the 40K LCG coming out. :-)
